What We Do
We are working in close conjunction with our partner and sponsor, Lauwo adventures in this project. We select the jobless people in our community and allow them to climb the mountain as porters. We are trying to create employment opportunities for our local populous who wish to become porters by connecting them with our partner trekking companies located in the Kilimanjaro region. We also take this opportunity to teach them the importance of conserving the environment.

Our objectives are to respond to the cries of the marginalized porters in the Kilimanjaro region by offering educational opportunities and advocating for their fair treatment in their areas of work and providing employment opportunities to the jobless members of our society.
We are very grateful to our sponsors who support our local villagers and have changed their lives! This sponsorship ensures that our youth receive quality schooling thus assuring them of a better future. Some of our porters have received support to pursue short term courses, others went back to secondary school and others got an opportunity to attain University education at Mweka College of Wildlife Management. We thank all our generous sponsors for their big hearts and ongoing support.
